On September 23, 2008 "Savage Streets" was released in a 2-disc set "Special Edition" by BCI Eclipse with Special Features produced by Red Shirt Productions and Code Red. MAN did BCI do a fine job with this classic 80's flick, tons of extras, great picture and awesome packaging, as with all BCI special editions, it really is sad that more people do not pay attention to this wonderful company!

Didn't this company go out of buisness recently? Too bad. Savage Streets is a great movie.

Yeah, there is a big mess with BCI and some other smaller indie labels right now...But the parent company of BCI just cut the line. Not sure if the parent company is taking over the other planned releases...

I know Code Red may have picked up some...

The Savage Streets release is excellent...awesome flick as well...

They are only taking on some select releases from what I have read, more of the popular films that will be a sure sale so to speak, that damn Savage Streets goes for #35.00 $50.00 on amazon & ebay now, since it's been discontinued!

I have a lot of movies that I can get good money for, but I'll never part with them...Same with CDs...

same here, and vinyl that goes for 100's, I really don't sell anything unless I absolutely don't like it, which I try to avoid before buying anyhow!

Yeah amazon sellers have used ones for 46 bucks, glad I grabbed mine when it was released, I have a ton of BCI releases long out of print, of course they are all great films!
