Terminator Salvation is the fourth installment to the Terminator film series, it was released on May 21, 2009.[1] It was written by John D. Brancato, Michael Ferris, Jonathan Nolan, and Anthony E. Zuiker, directed by McG,[2] and stars Christian Bale as John Connor.[3] After Skynet has destroyed much of humanity in a nuclear holocaust, John struggles to become the leader, but in this future, Marcus Wright (Sam Worthington, who was personally recommended by James Cameron[4]) has somehow altered it, and the T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger and Roland Kickinger) is coming online sooner than expected. The film will also center on Kyle Reese (Anton Yelchin[5]) and how he became who he was in the first film.

Yeah I thought T-3 was a piece of Crap myself, you have the undisputed original & the pretty stylish & sleek T-2 and that is it. I will and am going to give the new one a chance though, would like to see it on the big screen though!

Never saw T3

Um, I have mixed emotions about this...The story seems cool, but I have heard that the hack director (McG) just showcases nothing but explosions all over the place...

I thought that T2 was a solid followup but i thought T3 was all over the place and Arnold was just a waste of space he really lost it by the time that movie came along. T4 will be a home watch but i have no high expectations for it

I actually thought this was pretty damn good, went in with low expectations but came out pleasantly surprised, a nice "prequel" and detailed on screen explanation of all the happenings & events that took place before the original Terminator, A little over the top on the explosions and some of the characters escaping death, but what can you do, that's Hollywood...... Did it need to be done NO, did they do a fair job at connecting the story and characters YES!

I also thought the digital cameo of Arnold was great & Moon Bloodgood was SMOKIN HOT! A nice touch of class added with the film being dedicated to non other than Stan Winston himself!
