Pretty cool watch. Yeah, I watched about an hour of it, then I went out... The Craven Swamp Thing is a lot of fun...it's not great, but very watchable for sure... Today, I went on an Evil Dead kick for some reason...Army of Darkness was on Encore, so I watched it...after that, I ended up watching both 1 and 2 with commentary...

| Shadow Hunters 2 (1972) I must say these are both excellent films, great action and great stories as well, The Tokugawa Shoganate is looking to bail themselves out of the financial hole they put themselves in and stealing from daimyo's with scandalous plans is the cure.....but there are only 3 fierce sword wielding ronin are the only answer to stop all of this corrupt way of life & the many ninja / grass sent forth by the government & that is Jubei, Moonlight & Sunlight and they indeed know how to get the job done, very western in style which I like a lot.
I love the character buildup for each of the actors, very cool indeed & the insight of their past only helps the watcher understand how they became the fearless warriors they are, the movies to me are like a combo of a Chambara film with Exploitation & Spaghetti Western written all over them which makes sense due to the time they were made, when exploitation was very popular. I could have actually seen a few more of these being made, that would have been pretty cool, but I am happy I have these 2 gems, which are well worth it, and ace films if one is into the genre.
Lady Snowblood II: Love Song Of Vengeance (1974) - Yuki continues on her path to hell in another fine tale of vengeance in this fine sequel, not much to explain as I am sure most on here are very familiar with the film. I do love the scene where Yuki gets some shotgun action going though!
Warning Clans (1963)
Kagemaru of The Iga Clan (1963)
Yakuza Graveyard (1976)

| I watched Revolver yesterday...
Pretty cool crime/thriller with Oliver Reed and Fabio Testi and directed by Sergio Solima...
Milo Ruiz (Testi) is a thief in jail...Vito Cipriani (Reed) is the warden...Reed's wife gets kidnapped and the kidnappers demand the release of Ruiz...Ruiz claims not to know the kidnappers...Cipriani and Ruiz need to trust each other and work together as there is something much more going on than just a kidnapping...
Italian crime flicks are a lot of fun...this is a good one to get started with if you are interested in the genre...

Holy fuck!!! Man, I really didn't care for this. I'm not trying to be all "tru" or anything it just didn't work for me. I really liked High Tension and I hear that comparison a lot, but they're totally different movies. 30 Days of Night - I had already seen this, butn watched it again anyway and I gottan say it really holds up. Hell Ride -I don't know where to start. This movie makes very little sense and the only thing worth while in this time-waster are the ample amounts of glorious ass. Other then that, stay the fuck away. Seriously, I've heard people say that this was better then either installments in the Grindhouse film....and that's just plain crazy. This movie was terrible and I'd much rather watch something as bland as Rob Zombie's Halloween, because at least that had it's moments (Daniel Harris's gore-tits).
