| This is one of my favorite slashers as it is an original from the genre without a doubt, very unique story and a very creepy film to boot. I really wish gay ass Paramount would just give in and release the uncut version.....AAARRGGHH | |

| Yeah, this stands the test of time for sure... The director has all the uncut footage in great condition...Paramount does not care... But there is a remake happening... | |

| I agreed on whats already been said this one is a classic, its a shame paramount will allow a remake and not release the film the way it should and deserves to be uncut | |

| with the remake coming out...i actually see Paramount re-releasing it Uncut...they are doing the same for F13 when that remake comes out..movie studios only love our money not our respect for these classics not to be altered or remastered | |

| They won't release it uncut...Paramount has a big problem with Uncut/unrated stuff...
I think the F13 uncut thing is a rumor...and besides, there is not much missing (a few seconds of aftermath) in the theatrical F13th release...

| MBV or F13th?
I have no idea either way...
I have two different copies of F13th uncut...there is only an additional few seconds, so no one is really missing much...
I never saw MBV on Mosters HD...I did see The Burning on there which was remastered and looked great...

| I could of sworn they did MBV in HD, i saw stills somewhere of the uncut scenes remastered. I never had Monsters HD but alot of the bootlegs i got were rips from it, my copy of Terrorvision is near perfect | |

| Yeah the Friday version fully uncut only adds a few more sconds to Mrs Voorhees beheading and the death of Kevin Bacon. Not much really that should get fans excited. | |

| Ok Lionsgate is releasing a new SE version of the disc in January and i hear they were putting the cut footage as extras but i just read online they are editing it all back into the film. Hopefully that is true. Here is the cover | |

Yeah, I heard that a few weeks ago, but I'm still skeptical...Lions Gate seems to say one thing, then totally do the opposite at the last minute (examples are Haute Tension and The Descent) I am cautiously optimistic though...people bitched when they said they were releasing it with the cut scenes as a bonus, but now they heard the fans and are going to reinsert them into the feature... Keep your fingers crossed...

| Well, at least they finally did the right thing...I guess there was still more footage, but it was in pretty poor shape so they didn't include it...
A positive about remakes...the original movies get better treatment on DVD...
