| Can't have a Slasher Forum with talking about Friday the 13th...we'll use this thread to talk about all the films...
I have always been a F13th nut...saw the first 3 at a pretty young age and they always stuck with me. In general, I pretty much like all of them, with Part 7 and Jason Goes To Hell being my least favorites...
Part 2 would be my favorite of all of them...Till this day, I just have this uneasiness when I watch it, even though I seen it hundreds of times...it also has the "redneck" baghead Jason which I think is the most effective...
Shit, I have Jason toys, masks, books, etc, etc
So lets keep this going...discuss...

| Yeah I am a Halloween fan by heart, but I do love the mighty Jason as well, my favorites of the series would have to be 1,2,3 & 4. I think those films are the strongest of the series and by far the best, but there are certain things I like about A New Beginning and the ones after as well. | |

| I love The New Beginning because it was the most exploitation style F13th...Super high body count and lots of t and a...
In the Crystal Lake Memories book, they talked about how the kills scenes had to be toned down....and that the big sex scene in the woods was basically a porno...
So lots got trimmed...
Gotta love director Danny Steinmann...
A lot of people say they can't stand Part V...I always tell them to give it another try...

| My favorites so far would have to be part 1 and 2 havent seen 'em all, but I bought part 6 or something and I hated it. The 'final chapter' wasn't so bad though... | |

| The first two are the best, part six is a decent watch IMO. I'll have to re-visit some of the ones in between sometime soon. | |

| Part VI is kind of lame to me...it is not bad, but it was very tame...and it felt too much like a Monster movie to me and not a Jason flick...
I did meet the Part VI Jason, CJ Graham, and he was super cool...

I'll have to agree. I definitely had more fun with The Final Chapter, but I haven't seen one that I didn't like at least a little bit. Except maybe Jason X. Does that even count?
