Who are these unholy savages who hunt out their victims by sound alone?
In the 13th century there existed a legion of evil knights known as the Templars, who quested for eternal life by drinking human blood and committing sacrifices. Executed for their unholy deeds, the Templars bodies were left out for the crows to peck out their eyes. Now, in modern day Portugal, a group of people stumble on the Templars abandoned monastery, reviving their rotting corpses to terrorize the land.
Excellent, must-see films from Spanish director Amando de Ossorio. Very cool with a creepy atmosphere. There are four films in the series.
Tombs of the Blind Dead (1971)
Return of the Evil Dead (1973)
The Ghost Galleon (1974)
Night of the Seagulls (1975)

My first experience with these films were in the box set, before that i had never seen the films and i loved them. The atmosphere was stunning and the Zombie's looked brilliant, the gore was top notch. I highly recommend them to everyone

Yup classic stuff, can't go wrong with these creepy classics, tons of atmosphere and nice little refreshing original ideas about the undead. I would say my favorite is Return of the Evil Dead with Tombs Of... being 2nd!
Amando de Ossorio was a master at atmosphere and chose prime locations for his sets, in all his films!

Got the boxset myself. Much agreed with the atmosphere in all 4. Just put on Tombs a few weeks ago as well.
ESSENTIAL!!!
