Night Of The Living Dead

Not much explanation need for this one...a horror film responsible for turning people into lifelong horror fans...

Story is simple...a zombie outbreak occurs and 6 people are trapped together in a farm house hoping to survive...

Romero was ahead of his time for sure...there is a great social commentary embedded in the story that really relates to the times...He of course changed with the times and themes in his later Dead films...

Smart, creepy and just great...

It is responsible for all modern zombie films, and in my opinion, still the best...

Yes indeed a brilliant film to the Horror genre and the leader in Zombie films in general, a classic that can never be topped & has mass amounts of replay value!!

Romero's best in my opinion.

i like this one because it's sort of a in depth look at surviving the initial zombie attack, whereas in 'the rest' the zombies are pretty much well established... really really cool movie and, unlike most other movies from the 60's, the black guy dies last

Love it. I find most people prefer Dawn to this one at least the people i talk to. Night is in my humble opinion the best best Romero film by far. The atmosphere is right the characters all worked but the one thing i loved more than anything is that Romero and Russo in the story telling did not try to give a cheesy reason for the outbreak, they spoke of the space probe but did not dwell on it to much which ruins a film

Good catch, never thought of that before until now.

Still one of those films that gives me the creeps from time to time. Need to bring that out once again.

the space probe radiation explanation was a way better one than just: no more room in hell, even if it didn't sound as cool. well IMO

Day is cool...I like it better now than when I saw it way back when...

Thanks, the space probe radiation has like 2 minutes in the entire film then not brought up again. I hate when movies try o give these cheesy reasons of why things are happening then dwell on them the entire film

still one of the great zombie movies ever imo!
